Frank Chuang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems at National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taiwan. He earned his PhD from University College London (UCL), where his research focused on sustainability, governance, and computational modeling. He later served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Alan Turing Institute, the United Kingdom's national institute for data science and artificial intelligence.
At NCCU, Frank leads Future Systems Lab (FSL; 未來系統實驗室), an interdisciplinary research group investigating how emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and quantum computing—can contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future. The lab is also known as Quantum Pepe Lab (QuPepe Lab; 量子佩佩實驗室).
Frank currently supervises and co-supervises 10 research students. The lab welcomes students who enjoy challenging conventional wisdom and tackling complex real-world problems through interdisciplinary research.
